The campaign is diverse and challenging, especially to get gold/blue star. Multiplayer would probably be good if you have friends to play with. Matchmaking is so-so. Probably as good as it can be for this style of game. A few small but well-placed improvements of the Advance Wars mechanics. Solid strategy game. Thank you!

A great spiritual sequel to the advance wars series!

This is a wonderful game with great tactics and strategy! It is very much like the amazing Advanced Wars series, with some new units and improvements. Lots of maps so it wont get old. And good AI. Well worth it!

From an execution standpoint, Warbits mimics what was successful in the past to provide the the Advance Wars gaming experience to mobile devices. The same rock, paper, scissors tropes are coupled with a cutesy style. The polish and production values are top notch as well. From a creative approach, it would have been interesting for the developers to expand on the concept with rogue-lite elements or provide new strategies in combat. So its unlikely Warbits would deserve any gaming awards, the game is one of the best experiences for strategy fans.

This is the best homage to Advance Wars Ive played on iOS. The campaign is tough but a good primer. The multiplayer system is fantastic.

the cons: -units are not really distinct. APC looks like HV mech and like tank. the original advance wars had very clear units. -red and orange unit colors are too similar

This clone is just, MNNNN! If you did not understand, that means that this game is awesome! The graphics have a wacky style, and the gameplay is strategic and I dont have to explain it (assuming that you have played AW), and the fact that its mobile is just amazing! overall, Its deffenetly worth the few bucks, I would even pay more! Conclusion, press the buy button immediately!

If you like Advance Wars, just buy it. If you havent played Advance Wars, but have enjoyed other tactical games, same advice.

War bits is so far the best turn base strategy game Ive encountered on the iPad. I am a fan of strategy games and this game is complete. There are enough units, not too many to over complicate or too few. The units are balanced which means youre never employing too much of one unit. The maps are varied and fun to play on, the multiplayer is great. This game is very reminiscent of advanced wars, a game I grew up playing. Warbits adds even more from where advanced wars left off. If there was a successor to that series it would definitely be Warbits. I high recommend this game!
