I played the first 7 scenarios of the campaign and they arent remotely challenging. Feels sluggish. Takes too much time with not funny cutscenes and too long to get to challenging scenarios. Then it crashed and I couldnt play after the 7th scenario, but I was going to stop anyway.

Incredible game thats almost a clone of Advance Wars from the GameBoy Advance console. Great turn based combat strategy with excellent artwork and gameplay with ease and grace! Bravo!!

Its a really good game glad to see an AW clone, but missing some basics things

This is a great game for 3 dollars. It has a light tone but great strategy. Just two things:make sure you keep adding content through update(dont make it too similar to advance wars) and to add naval units

Id really appreciate being able to skip / speed up animations and dialogue. Undo is also not uncommon when fog of war tiles havent been revealed. An icon to cycle through units would be nice as well. Other than UX issues, this game is a competent attempt at advance wars, and the computer AI is pretty solid. Its worth buying if youre still jonesing for advance wars but I do hope they improve with updates.

As many have said, the app is a nice newer take on the Advance Wars games on the old Nintendo GBA. Provides a nice challenge fairly quickly in the game, but not demoralizingly so. Id love to see a little more depth as some others have said, but overall a very solid little game and a well-spent $3.00.

I am not one to buy just ANY game from the store, but once I saw this game I was like NO WAY! Is this Advance Wars all over again?? You have no idea how happy I felt just knowing some developers out there actually appreciate the beauty of Advance Wars as a game, and this genre of games as a whole! I really want this game to be something in the competitive gaming scene and good enough for the average player who just enjoys playing Strategy games. Thank you so so so very much from the bottom of my heart for making such a game and shedding some light upon this genre again. Keep it up, just keep improving this game and adding new features to it! And if you had to make Warbits 2 I will support you and I will buy it, but if you didnt need to make another game then keep improving this one because even the name of the game is promising! After 10 campaign missions so far, I am enjoying the game. Fun gameplay, taunting by the characters, good sound and nice visuals. Doesnt have the battle animations like Advance Wars but I turned those off anyway most of the time.

If you liked advance wars, you will like this.

Best money Ive spent on an app in a while!

Really loving this game. After playing for a week, Im changing my review from 4 to 5 stars. The light theme masks a complexity that needs real strategic thinking. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each unit is the key. Each new map ramps up the complexity a bit but in a very balanced manner. From level 2 onwards, you will need to play them each several times to attain the Blue star but it never feels like a grind. The only real negative Ive found is that the app is a significant battery drain, even when Im offline. Not sure why since it doesnt seem to be that graphics intensive. Im playing on an iPad Air2. Please look into this, Devs. And, thanks for a very enjoyable game. Its so refreshing to play a game not riddled with ads or IAPs. Well worth the price of admission and, Ill be more than happy to pay for extra levels as they become available.

Top 5 mobile games Ive ever played. Actually mentally challenging and stimulating and zero percent do you feel like you do when playing freemium scam king type games like you can tell the developers respect players unlike king or zynga.

Not a big gamer but this game is Awesome! So fun playing against friends via Game Center: A+

Absolutely love the game. a spiritual successor to advance wars with a few unique twists (i.e. use of powers, new long range infantry unit...) my only corrections would be: 1. change some of the units art design. some are very difficult to distinguish from one another (long range infantry vs regular infantry, carrier vs bomber) 2. longer campaign 3. ability to change difficulty level in campaign and local play 4. perhaps some differences that would make you choose one faction over another? 5. sea levels and units 3.

Unlike so many "strategy" games that require little strategy, this actually offers plenty of it. Its not free flowing and you dont really build your skills or strength as the game goes on. Instead, each board is set with units and you need to get through each. Good game. Hours of fun.

This iPhone game captures the same spirit of Nintendos classic game, and one of my all time favorite games, ADVANCE WARS but with enough unique elements that it doesnt feel like a total rip off. Loving the humor and the Snipers! I couldnt be happier about it!!!

This game is legit. Ive literally been playing one campaign mission for an hour straight. This is comparable to a console game. So much fun too

The Advance Wars spiritual successor Ive been waiting for. Thank you for the amazingly well done game!
